The top-ranked Lambert High School boys soccer team has advanced to the semifinals of the state Class AAAA tournament.

The Longhorns defeated visiting McIntosh 3-0 on Friday night. With the win, they also avenged last year’s quarterfinal upset at the hands of the Chiefs.

Next up for Lambert is Marist, which defeated Glynn Academy. The match will be Tuesday at Lambert.
