Forsyth County Animal Shelter waives adoption fees for summer
Forsyth County Animal Shelter
The Forsyth County Animal Shelter is waiving adoption fees for the summer beginning Tuesday, May 28.

What better way to kick off the start of summer than with a new furry pal?

The Forsyth County Animal Shelter —located at 4065 County Way, just off Ga. 400 — recently announced the standard pet adoption fee of $85 would be waived for the summer starting on Tuesday, May 28 and continuing through Tuesday, Sept. 3.

We are very excited to give residents a chance to bring home a pet at no cost,” said Animal Shelter Manager Cindy Iacopella in a news release. “All of the pets in the shelter deserve a good home and we are hopeful that this promotion will help families bring a new companion home this summer.”

Adoptions include microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations and spaying and neutering.
