Forsyth's first Rotary club names new president
Eric Duncan

The Rotary Club of Forsyth County has named Eric Duncan its new president.

Duncan, a longtime Forsyth County resident, succeeded Donna Wade on July 1 and will serve the position until June 30, 2018.

After a career in banking, both domestically and internationally, Duncan started a local family financial practice in 1996. He holds both certified financial planner and certified kingdom advisor designations.

Founded in 1975, the Rotary club was the first in Forsyth County and remained so for some time. There are now five chartered clubs in Forsyth. The club Duncan now presides over has 75 members who range from business professionals, doctors, and educators to government officials and entrepreneurs.

Recent community projects taken on by the local club include donating 90 Chromebooks to elementary schools in Forsyth County, procuring benches for the Forsyth County Courthouse and contributing more than $30,000 annually to support various local charities and non-profits.
