Forsyth County Parks and Recreation will hold an activity expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Old Atlanta Park Recreation Center.

The free event will provide an opportunity to meet instructors and learn about the many programs and classes available at the facility.

Instructors will provide interactive demonstrations to offer a peek of their classes and programs. Activities to be featured include art, gymnastics and fitness classes.

Tommy Bruce, assistant director of the department, said the event will “provide citizens the opportunity to see up close what parks and recreation has to offer this fall.”

Old Atlanta Park is at 810 Nichols Road, across from Lambert High School. In addition to a rec center, it features a natural playground, tot-lot for children age 6 and younger, two pavilions, 1-mile walking trail and spray pad.
