Two local churches are holding separate festivals this weekend.
The grounds of Saints Raphael, Nicholas & Irene Greek Orthodox Church will be filled with singing, dancing, food and fun as it presents the eighth annual Cumming Greek Festival.
The event begins this afternoon and runs through Sunday at the church, 3074 Bethelview Road.
Saturday, the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit is holding its annual Red Door Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be a petting zoo, inflatables, cake walk, arts and crafts and more at the church, 724 Pilgrim Mill Road in Cumming.

With the addition of a third day, turnout for the Greek Festival is expected to top last year, particularly since today is a student holiday for Forsyth’s schools.
The festival features traditional Greek music, dance performances, authentic cuisine and a variety of gift items.
Admission is free for children 12 and younger and $1 for adults.
Hours are 3 to 10 p.m. today; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
