CUMMING — The Color Outside the Lines 5K is set for 8 a.m. Saturday at the Cumming Fairgrounds.
It is presented by Supporting Adoption & Foster Families Together, or SAFFT, a Forsyth County nonprofit that protects children, rebuilds families and empowers caregivers.
The event, which is for all ages, features a timed 5K on a safely designed course inside the fairgrounds, complete with music and color throws.
There also will be an after-party, with awards presented for first, second and third place for each age group, as well as a giant paint throw.
More than 400 runners participated in last year's 5K. Every runner receives a shirt, swag bag and color packet for the after-party.
The fairgrounds is on Castleberry Road near downtown Cumming. To learn more about the event or sign up, visit safft.org/color.
