Forsyth County says goodbye to fallen deputy, in photos

The community said goodbye to Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Spencer Englett on Tuesday, April 9. Englett died during his first day of training at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Pickens County on April 4. 

Funeral services were held at Winds of Peace Fellowship Church in Dawsonville, with burial at Baldwin Memorial Gardens in Milledgeville. 

“He was an exemplary deputy who served Forsyth County with distinction and honor,” said officials with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. “We ask all to keep Deputy Englett’s wife and family, as well as the FCSO family, in your prayers during this difficult time.”
