Forsyth County singer to appear again on 'The Voice'
Riley

FORSYTH COUNTY — When viewers tune in to Monday night’s episode of “The Voice” on NBC, they will have the chance to cheer on a Forsyth County native as she fights against elimination for a spot in the narrowing pool of singers on the hit reality competition.

A sneak peak of Riley Biederer’s battle-round performance can be viewed on YouTube and will air with the judges’ choice tonight at 8 p.m.

The 19-year-old will sing Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground” will contestant Evan McKeel. After the song, the celebrity judge of their team, Pharrell Williams, must choose one of them to move on to the next round.

If any of the other judges — Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani — like what they see and hear in the one not chosen, they have the opportunity to “steal” that person and bring them onto their team for at least the next round.

Pop-soul singer/songwriter Biederer was chosen by Grammy-winning producer/singer/songwriter and fashion designer Pharrell during blind auditions earlier in the show when she sang Kelly Clarkson’s “Invincible,” which can be found on iTunes.
