Troncalli Subaru presented Jesse’s House with a donation of $26,429.19 on Wednesday as part of the local business’ “Share the Love” campaign.

It was the sixth year that Troncalli Subaru has partnered with Jesse’s House, the local nonprofit youth shelter that provides safe and structured care to girls ages 7-21 who have been removed from care due to abuse or neglect.

The “Share the Love” campaign has raised a total of $82,753.17 for Jesse’s House.

“It just makes a great impact on our organization,” said Karen Carroll, executive director of Jesse’s House. “We’ve served over 1,000 girls over the last 20-plus years. Our girls are coming from situations where they’ve been abused and neglected, and they just need a safe place to call home.

“We have a lot of staff to provide that care. It takes a lot of funds to make that happen and provide all the resources these girls need where they can get to a place in their life where they can see a light at the end of the tunnel. This donation goes a long way toward helping that cause and doing what we do to get the girls where they need to be.”
