More than 500 runners took part in Saturday’s Jingle Jog 5K.
The annual fundraiser for the Forsyth County Community Connection began a day of Christmas festivities in Cumming.
Runners gathered at Cumming Town Center on Market Place Boulevard to start their trek, which was changed this year, at 8:30 a.m.
The course was shifted to take runners into downtown Cumming this year so they would be running downhill at the end of the race.
Many of participants took full advantage of the run’s festive name, dressing as everything from colorful elves to reindeer and snowmen. A few even donned Santa and Mrs. Claus costumes for the run.
Some furry companions also joined their owners for the chilly race.
