Seniors to celebrate end of summer with dance
Luau-themed event Saturday at center

Forsyth County Senior Services’ is holding an End-of-Summer Dance Saturday at Sexton Hall Enrichment Center.

Set for 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., the luau-themed event is for adults 40 and older. Admission, which includes refreshments, is $10.

Entertainment will be provided by the Sounds of Sawnee Jazz Band.

Michael Bohn, director of senior services, said in a statement that staff members were looking forward to the event.

“This is part of our ongoing dance series, and it should be a really fun evening,” he said.

Sexton Hall, which is at 2115 Chloe Road, off of Sharon Road between Peachtree Parkway and Old Atlanta Road, serves active adults ages 50 and older.

The center offers a variety of opportunities including art, music, dancing, drama, continuing education, technology, fitness and leisure activities.
