A large local soccer organization offered plenty of family fun on Saturday. United Futbol Academy, which was created in 2010 after the merger of two smaller soccer programs, held its first UFA Family Fun Carnival at Fowler Park in south Forsyth. Hundreds of UFA players and their families, as well as the general public, attended the event, which served as a fundraiser for the organization to help provide scholarships to children who otherwise might not be able to participate.
