Forsyth County Commissioner Patrick Bell has scheduled a town hall meeting for 7 p.m. Monday at Coal Mountain Elementary School.

The topic? Well, that'd be whatever residents want to discuss.

"I see this as an opportunity for me to listen," Bell said. "It's a reverse town hall meeting really.

"I'll be there to give updates on anything people have questions on, but it's mainly a chance for residents to talk."

Bell said many residents have said they will attend. He plans to hold similar sessions twice a year.

"When I ran for office, I committed to having these, and I think it's important," Bell said. "I'd like to hear what's on people's minds."

Coal Mountain Elementary is at 3455 Coal Mountain Drive in north Forsyth.
