Government leaders statewide will get a serene glimpse at Forsyth County life when they receive their copy of this year’s Association County Commissioners of Georgia Yearbook.

The publication, distributed to county commissioners, managers, clerks and attorneys across the state, features a photograph by parks and recreation employee Christopher LeBlanc.

LeBlanc took the photo in a pasture near Sawnee Mountain.

Beth Brown, communications director for the association, said it’s the first year the organization has held the photo contest.

“We are very pleased to recognize Forsyth County for their submission, which showcases a very tranquil setting in one of our fastest growing counties,” Brown said.

The county yearbook serves as an information resource for and about county government in Georgia. For more information, go online at www.accg.org.
