Sharon Springs Park had been the most popular location for advance voting in Forsyth County, and that doesn’t appear to have changed for today’s primary.

A line of voters out the door has been observed at the location since it opened at 7 a.m., requiring polling workers to permit waves of people in at a time.

Barbara Luth, the county’s supervisor of voter registrations and elections, previously told the FCN that voter turnout was expected to be high at the location, particularly since voters live in the area of the proposed city of Sharon Springs. About 46 percent of advance voters cast ballots at the location.

Sharon Springs Park is open for voting until 7 p.m.
