Sharon Lane will be closed to through traffic starting Monday for replacement of two drain pipes.
The road, which runs between Sharon and Old Atlanta roads, is expected to reopen Aug. 6. No detour is needed.
"It's a proactive maintenance repair in order to prevent future failure," said John Cunard, director of engineering.
While flooding hasn't been a concern there, Cunard said, a county crew did find rusting pipes during a routine inspection.
Residents of Sharon Springs will need to use the subdivision's other entrance during the two-week span.
The replacement project is being paid for with 1-cent sales tax funds.
