A 23-year-old Florida man remained hospitalized Monday, three days after he was injured in a two-vehicle wreck near a south Forsyth shopping mall.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Robert Hunter Jordan of Fort Myers, Fla., was being treated for broken bones at North Fulton Hospital.

The collision occurred about 8:30 p.m. Friday on Ronald Reagan Boulevard near The Avenue Forsyth.

According to a sheriff’s report, Jordan was traveling south along Ronald Reagan on a Chuanl LB150T-12 motor scooter with the lights off.

After waiting for oncoming traffic, he reportedly turned left into a northbound Infiniti driven by Robert Brian Bolick, 49, of Cumming.

Neither Bolick nor his wife, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was injured.

Sheriff’s Cpl. David Garrison said Jordan was wearing a helmet and that alcohol likely wasn’t a factor in the wreck.

No charges have been filed and the investigation is continuing.
