DAWSONVILLE — A 63-year-old Forsyth County man died Aug. 13 when his tractor overturned on Riverbend Road.

According to Georgia State Patrol spokeswoman Robin Stone, the incident happened about 7:30 p.m. as Jerry Ledford was cutting grass on his property off Hwy. 136, east of Dawsonville.

“For unknown reasons, the driver lost control,” Stone said.

The tractor rolled over Ledford before continuing down the hill and coming to rest against trees.

Ledford was pronounced dead at the scene.
