A Forsyth County woman reported missing last week was found camping in a state park and has since returned home.
Felicia Williamson Lane, 40, was reunited with her family, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Capt. Tim House said Sunday.
Lane, who authorities described as an outdoors expert, had been reported missing Monday morning.
Her husband and 19-year-old daughter had last seen her about 6 p.m. Nov. 26, when the two left the family’s Kemp Drive home.
Sheriff’s investigators said Lane had apparently left with her Jack Russell terrier, a bag of dog food, credit card, camping gear and enough provisions to last her about six days. Her cell phone was at the house.
Authorities didn’t suspect foul play, but the family was concerned because Lane had not told anyone she was leaving.
She was spotted in Dahlonega on Thursday before disappearing again.
Authorities found her Saturday night at Vogel State Park, northwest of Helen.
