SOUTH FORSYTH — Traffic delays are expected through the weekend along a busy road in south Forsyth as crews repair a cell phone tower, authorities said.

Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office deputies will be directing traffic at North Old Atlanta Road and Ronald Reagan Boulevard during the one-lane closure, which is scheduled to last until 7 p.m. Sunday, said Doug Rainwater, a spokesman for the agency.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible, as work will continue around the clock.
