CUMMING — One lane of Ga. 400 under the Mary Alice Park Road bridge will close overnight Friday and Saturday so crews can work on the gas line attached to the bridge. Delays are expected.

According to Teri Pope, a communications officer with the state Department of Transportation, crews will work over one northbound lane tonight, while work over the southbound lane will occur from 8 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday.

Closures will be from mileposts 31-33 between Exit 14 (Cumming) and Exit 15 (Bald Ridge Marina Road).
