CUMMING – A two-vehicle crash in Cumming Monday afternoon sent one person to the hospital with what authorities described as non-life threatening injuries.

The incident occurred about 4:30 p.m. near the entrance to Ga. 400 on Buford Highway (Hwy. 20), according to Deputy Epifanio Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

Though no details were immediately available about the vehicles, the cause or nature of the accident or the occupants, one person was transported to an area hospital non-emergency.

One side of the road was temporarily closed but has since been reopened.
