The Forsyth County State Court’s calendar will see changes this week due to a “sharp increase in COVID-19 cases in the Forsyth County community.”

According to an administrative order signed on Monday, Jan. 3 by Chief State Court Judge Russell McClelland, the traffic court arraignment calendar scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 6 will be canceled and cases will be re-noticed.

Defendants wishing to pay fines can do so at the clerk’s office during regular business hours or online at forsythclerk.com

The order also states that “to the extent possible and unless otherwise required by law, all criminal motion hearings, plea and other non-jury matters will be conducted virtually through Jan. 14.”
