Forsyth County authorities arrested a local woman this week after she allegedly pointed a gun at a roommate during a dispute.

Kristian Kuiokalani Slaw, 39, was arrested on Jan. 3, and charged with aggravated assault with a gun, jail records show.

Slaw is accused of pulling a Glock 45-caliber handgun and pointing it at her roommate after a verbal disagreement turned heated, according to Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpl. Doug Rainwater.

The alleged victim fled from the residence and called 911, and after an investigation at the scene Slaw was taken into custody, Rainwater said.

Slaw was taken to the Forsyth County Jail and as of Friday evening she was held under a bond of $11,130.
