Schools wrong on Obama speech

Forsyth County News
What kind of people do we have living here in Forsyth County? What kind of narrow minded people serve on our school board? Why were they afraid to allow our students to see and hear the president’s message to students? He only gave emphasis on what our educators are trying to do.

Just last week the low standings on SATs by Georgia students was reported in the Journal Constitution. Doesn’t our school board want to help improve educational standards? The president’s talk could only have helped.

I am certain that a majority of the people in Forsyth County would have wanted their students to be exposed to the words of the talk. I think the school board owes an apology to students, parents, the state and country.
