Forsyth County News
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I wish to congratulate Tommy and Chantal Bagwell on receiving the 2010 Liberty Bell Award, presented by the Forsyth County Bar Association during its annual Law Day observance. The Bagwells were recognized for their contributions to the Bald Ridge Boys Lodge, which houses boys who are in the custody of the Division of Family and Children Services or referred by the Forsyth County Juvenile Court.

I also wish to thank Forsyth County Superior Court Judges Jeffrey S. Bagley and David L. Dickinson for their participation in the program.

Since 1958, every May 1 has been set aside as “a day of national dedication to the principle of government under law,” Commemorated annually for more than 50 years. Law Day programs are conducted throughout the country by bar associations, courts, schools and civic groups.

Congratulations to all for a most successful celebration of our justice system.

Bryan M. Cavan

President
State Bar of Georgia
