High business taxes lead to job outsourcing

I don’t know about you folks, but one of my pet peeves is the outsourcing of jobs that should stay in America to other countries by our big companies. No wonder our unemployment rate is above 10 percent in Georgia.

I read the other day where top executives of large companies were going to a program to learn how to gain from outsourcing jobs overseas. And by the way, this meeting was held in Atlanta.

Folks, we need these jobs to stay in America and the state. Several people are losing everything they have and we put up with this nonsense out of these large companies.

They put thousands of people in this country out of work so they can move the jobs overseas. Have you ever had to call one of these companies and get an answer from someone who cannot even help you? I always tell them I want to speak to someone in our country.

Now, this is not all their fault, because by doing this they save approximately $42 billon annually in taxes. Our government taxes them at 35 percent, so if we cut their taxes, to say 15 percent, I believe they would return and this would enable them to employ our people instead of outsourcing.

So contact your representative and ask him to help our country and the people out of this mess we are in.

It all boils down to greed by the companies that want to keep every dollar and our government that wants every dollar so it can spend, spend and spend some more.
