Congress should stand up to president

Let us see what is going on in our world. The president has ordered the people to buy Obama health care or pay a penalty for not doing so. These are people that cannot afford to pay their utility bills or buy food for their loved ones each month.

He has put pressure on Catholic and other religious institutions to provide medical insurance that guarantees free birth control.

He violates the Constitution numerous times and our representatives must be asleep because they never inform him that he is wrong.

I think I know what they are doing; they are too busy telling lies on each other during this election that has nothing to do with being president of this United States. They should be ashamed of the way they act toward each other. President Obama is really enjoying this show, and if they don’t change he will be your next president.

Folks, we the people and this great country cannot afford to sit back and allow this to happen. The people need to stand up and be counted and tell him we are tired of his dictatorship. The Democrats have a huge number of smart, educated representatives, but they won’t even attempt to get one of their own to run against him.

Are they scared of him or fearful of reprisals if they try to do what is right for our country? After all they are supposedly working for the people, but sometimes you have to wonder if it is nothing but more power and money and that is all they care about. I would hate to be a member of Congress and let this continue the way it is headed and be ashamed to show my face to the people.

Also, we keep our military in Afghanistan to be shot by the same people we are trying to help. Does this make sense to you? I don’t think so.

Lord we need your help and guidance during these times and we know we can depend on you to give us the wisdom we need to do what is right and just.
