Thank you for publishing, and especially Hank Sullivan for writing the wonderful tribute to our military and veterans in his May 24 column. 

The words of President Lincoln acknowledging the tremendous sacrifice made by the military over the years is wonderful and appropriate as we approach Memorial Day, but are appropriate and meaningful 365 days a year. With so many words and columns today critical of our history and finding fault and looking for blame of every issue in a highly partisan environment, Mr. Sullivan has written something every American should agree with and appreciate.
