Forsyth Central senior guard T.J. Custer has advanced to the semifinal round in the 2013 American Family Insurance National High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships Facebook voting competition.

Custer is now one of four finalists vying for a spot in the 3-point competition, which will air during the NCAA Div. I Men’s Basketball Final Four at 2 p.m. April 6 on CBS.

Custer is the only remaining contestant from the Southeast. He made the All-County first team in 2012, when he averaged 16 points per game.

From now until Wednesday, March 6, Custer will compete against Taylor Marshall (Estes Park High School, Colo.) in a bracket-style knockout competition.

The contestant who receives the most votes will advance to the championship round next week, which runs from March 6-20.

Winners are determined by fan voting at facebook.com/highschoolslam and www.highschoolslam.com.

Fans may vote once per day.

Semifinal round voting closes at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6.

Final winners of the competition will be announced Wednesday, March 20.
