Twelve players from Forsyth Central were named to the All-Region 7-AAAAA, Div. A team, which was picked by the region’s coaches and released Monday.

The Bulldogs had three first team, five second team and four honorable mention selections from a team that went 2-8 under first-year head coach Shane Williamson.

Hunter Lamm, a junior offensive lineman, Victor Peppers, a junior linebacker, and Anel Ramic, a senior kicker, made first team.

Lamm finished with a team-high 19 pancake blocks and helped Central make a mid-season transition from the spread offense to the Wing-T. Peppers had a breakout performance in his first season at linebacker with 98 tackles, including eight tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries. Ramic made 4 of 5 field goals and was a perfect 19-for-19 on extra points. He also handled the team’s kickoff duties, with 19 touchbacks.

Senior athlete Michael Branigan, senior fullback Jake Gorczyca, defensive lineman Charly Hernandez, defensive back Ryan Hintz and defensive end Adam Maresco were named to the second team, while offensive lineman David Allen, wide receiver Jeremiah Jones, linebacker Corey Johnson and defensive back Robbie Repasz were named honorable mention.
