Last meeting: Cass won 13-6.
What to know: Last season the Bulldogs had a chance to be 3-0 for the first time since 1997 when they fell on the road to Cass 13-6. Forsyth Central is feeling good after winning its first two games by a combined score of 67-15, while Cass has had flip-flopped performances. The Colonels lost the season opener 41-0 to Cartersville before rebounding with a 41-14 win on the road against Coosa.
A win would also mean the second straight year Central has won more for the season under Williamson than it did since 2009, when it went 4-6. No team from then until Williamson won more than two contests. There’s no denying this game carries more weight than just any other Week 3 matchup around the state.
