Sprayberry at Forsyth Central

When, where: Friday, 7:30 p.m., at Bulldog Stadium in Cumming.

Records, rankings: Sprayberry is 4-3, 2-2 in Region 7-AAAAA, Div. B and unranked; Central is 2-4, 0-3 and unranked.

Series history: Sprayberry leads 3-0.

Last meeting: Sprayberry won 34-7 in 2014.

What to know: Junior running back Trey Sermon of Sprayberry—he’s what you need to know. The 6-foot-1, 203 pound, one-man wrecking crew has 25 Division I offers. He’s narrowed his list to Tennessee, South Carolina, Stanford, Ohio State, Miami (FL), Georgia, Michigan, Florida, Alabama and Auburn.

Though, this week, he’s only worrying about the Central defense. To say the Bulldogs have their hands full is an understatement, which is bad news for a team that likely spent the week reevaluating its defense after surrendering a late lead and falling, 39-33, to North Atlanta. Central has dropped four straight games.

If this one is to be close, Sabrian Howard will have to match Sermon play-for-play. Sprayberry gave up 42 points to Cambridge last week in a 25-point loss on the road. The Bulldogs might be catching them at the right time.
