Two Forsyth Central softball players -- sophomore pitcher Bailey McCachren and junior catcher Grace Kiser -- have verbally committed to play the sport in college.

McCachren, who committed to Campbell, and Kiser, who committed to Columbus State, helped the Bulldogs to the team's first-ever playoff berth in Class 7A last season. McCachren, a left-handed pitcher, had a 1.83 ERA with 138 strikeouts in 126 innings, earning her second-team All-County honors. Kiser was also named second team All-County, hitting .297 with five doubles and three home runs.
