When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at The Horn in Suwanee.

Records, rankings: Northview is 0-1 and unranked in Class 5A; Lambert is 1-1 and unranked in Class 6A.

Series history: Lambert leads 1-0.

Last meeting: Lambert won 55-27 in 2012.

What to know: It looked like Lambert finally figured out the offense in a 24-9 upset win over Roswell last week. Tucker Maxwell’s 84 rushing yards and 66 receiving yards, including a touchdown, powered the Longhorns. Lambert’s defense was just as potent, forcing three interceptions and recovering two fumbles. The defense will need to put up a similar effort to knock off Northview.

The Titans gave South Forsyth fits in the opener, which led head coach Jeff Arnette to call them "one of the most improved teams from one year to the next in my 23 years of coaching." Northview quarterback D.J. Pearson touted a 313-yard performance in Week 1, so the Lambert secondary will have their hands full.
