LAMBERT AT SOUTH FORSYTH

When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at War Eagle Stadium in Cumming.

Records, rankings: Lambert is 1-2 and unranked in Class 6A; South is 3-0 and unranked in Class 6A.

Series history: Lambert leads 3-0.

Last meeting: Lambert won 32-19 in 2012.

What to know: To say these two teams don’t like one another would be an understatement. South has never beaten Lambert, but tonight looks to be its best chance as Lambert has continued to struggle on offense, including seven turnovers last week against Northview. The 24-point performance against Roswell in Week 2 looks more like an outlier than what is expected.

South, which defeated Northview in Week 1, has been dominant on offense. The War Eagles put up 38 points apiece in their last two games, routing their opponents through the air and on the ground. Matt White threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns last week.
