Volleyball: Moellering breaks Georgia College record for digs

Jordyn Moellering broke the Georgia College school record for digs Friday night, collecting 21 during a 3-2 loss to Flagler to reach 1,309 career digs. 

Moellering, who graduated from Lambert in 2017, is averaging 5.3 digs per set in her third year with the Bobcats and currently has 464 digs through 22 matches this season.

Moellering's season-high mark came Oct. 19 during a 3-2 loss to Lander when she collected 38 digs. She currently ranks third in Peach Belt Conference play in both digs and digs per set.

Moellering also holds the Lambert school record for digs, tallying 591 in her senior year with the Longhorns.

Georgia College, an NCAA Division II team in Milledgeville, is 7-15 and 1-6 in conference play. The Bobcats have five regular-season matches remaining on their schedule.
