North Forsyth at Johns Creek

When, where: Friday, 7:30 p.m., at Johns Creek Stadium in Johns Creek.

Records, rankings: North is 1-5 overall, 1-4 in Region 6-AAAAAA and unranked; Johns Creek is 3-3, 3-2 and unranked.

Series history: North leads 2-1.

Last meeting: North won 14-13 in 2014.

What to know: North is looking to end a four-game skid that began on Sept. 11 at Northview. The Raiders have averaged just 10.75 points per game in that span but had their third best offensive output of the season last week against West (48-17 loss). Defensively, the Raiders have to tighten up, though getting a break from playing Lambert, South and West  should work in their favor.

Johns Creek is much improved from last year, but if the Raiders can put one win on the board, the schedule sets up to where they could completely flip their season around and get to .500.

The Raiders will likely enter this game showing more of a new offense. Coming out of the bye week, the team ran a shotgun formation and threw the ball significantly more. The Raiders struggled with deep throws in the new scheme. Keep an eye out for simpler ways to get the ball into the hands of Cody Dwyer and Simon Holcomb.
