West Forsyth at North Forsyth

When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at Raider Valley in Coal Mountain

Records, rankings: West is 3-2, 3-1 in Region 6-AAAAAA and unranked in Class AAAAAA; North is 1-4, 1-3 and unranked.

Series history: West leads 5-2.

Last meeting: West won 35-3 in 2014.

What to know: West will be looking to extend its winning streak to four games, while North will try to break a three game losing streak that already includes two blowout losses at home to county opponents. A third-consecutive home game against a county team is a rare shot, but the Raiders will be looking for the charm out of the bye week.

West quarterback Kiernen Hamilton is the only quarterback in Forsyth to be over 1,000 yards at the midway point of the season with 1,292—good enough to rank sixth in the entire state. He also has 16 touchdown passes, and many of them have gone to emerging wide receiver Austin Reid as of late. Reid leads the county with seven touchdown receptions.

North will continue to feature Cody Dwyer, Simon Holcomb and Jacob Bailey. The trio has been exciting to watch all season on offense, but the day they all get on the same page is when North will be able to keep up in a county meet.
