North tennis sweeps West Hall

North Forsyth girls and boys tennis swept West Hall, 4-0 and 4-1, respectively, in a non-region match Tuesday at home.

The Lady Raiders improved to 1-0 on the season.

Josie Hanewich earned a 7-5, 7-5 (2-0) win at No. 1 singles, while Jordyn Triche won 6-2, 3-6, 6-0 (2-1) at No. 2 singles.

North’s No. 1 doubles pair of Emily Nizialek and Emily Loedding won 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 (2-1) and Brooke Lewis and Abby Stubbs won 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 (2-1) at No. 2 doubles.

The boys team got wins at No. 1 singles from Jay Tootle, No. 3 singles from Marku Pacleb, No. 1 doubles from Tony Scheyer and Aaron Staton and No. 2 doubles from Conner Tennies and Zach Thomas.
