North Forsyth’s Megan Nicoletti signed her Letter of Intent to play lacrosse at (Division I) Kennesaw State.
Nicoletti had a season-high 27 goals for the Lady Raiders as an attacker.
"The location and campus were the biggest [factors]," Nicoletti said. "You can get away but it’s not far if you want to get home. It’s about an hour from home, so it’s good."
She’s already started practicing for next season in hopes of early playing time.
"I hope to improve my game a lot and get extended playing time," she said. "Set your goals high and don’t stop until you get there."
North head coach Jill Short has confidence Nicoletti will succeed at Kennesaw State.
"Megan has been a leader on the field dedicated to consistent practice as well as assisting the newer players," Short said. "She led the team in scoring last season and had a high number of assists. She is a model student in the classroom, maintaining over a 4.0 average."
Nicoletti is undecided on a major.
