Forsyth Central at North Forsyth

When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at Raider Valley in Cumming.

Records, rankings: Central is 0-0 and unranked; North is 0-0 and unranked.

Series history: North leads 7-6.

Last meeting: North won 10-7 in 2012.

What to know: Forsyth Central will showcase its new spread offense, while North will try to control the line of scrimmage with its running game. The two contrasting styles should be fun to watch and will give each coach a better understanding of how much progression has taken place.

If Central quarterback Michael Branigan can consistently hit his targets and if receiver Jeremiah Jones can get into open space, it may be a tough night for North. However, if the Raiders can play the ball-control game and running back Jamal Davenport is barreling over defenders, Central may only have a few possessions.
