2017 Forsyth County News All-County Girls Golf Team


Player of the Year: Christine McDonnell, Lambert (Sr.): Navy signee came up big when it mattered most for the Longhorns, shooting an even 72 at the area championship and a team-best 76 in the second round of the state championship, helping lead Lambert to a team title in both events.

Coach of the Year: Katie Rosser, Lambert: First-year coach with little prior experience coaching golf kept the Longhorns focused and sharp through a dramatic, trying state championship meet, which ended in the school’s fourth straight state title.
