Three Forsyth County runners were named to the Powerade All-Metro High School Cross Country team, the Atlanta Track Club announced today.

Seniors Madelynne Cadeau and Brennan Bower represent South Forsyth, while junior Cooper Bocko was chosen from Lambert.

The team consists of 42 runners and will be split into first, second and third teams. The first team will be announced Dec. 3 at the Powerade All-Metro Cross Country Banquet at the Stave Room in Atlanta. Each of the 14 runners on the first team will receive a $500 scholarship.

The Atlanta Track Club will also name its top boys and girls runners, who will each get an additional scholarship.

Twenty-eight schools from 10 counties in Georgia made the list of 42 runners.
