Luke Sutko had a double, home run and two RBI as the Bulldogs cruised to a non-region victory Thursday on the road.
Ryan Cox got the win for Central, striking out seven in 3 2/3 innings.
Daniel Henderson added two hits and two RBI, while Grant Cloud also had two RBI.
Patrick O’Rourke suffered the loss for Pinecrest, allowing three earned runs over six innings with five strikeouts.
Ryan McCarthy led the Paladins at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a triple, home run and two RBI.
Blessed Trinity 6, Lambert 1
ROSWELL – A four-run first inning by the Titan was enough as the Longhorns suffered a non-region loss Thursday on the road.
Brandon Thomas suffered the loss for Lambert (1-3), which managed seven hits but stranded runners in scoring position in five innings.
South Forsyth 9, St. Pius 1
ATLANTA – Landon Sims dominated on the mound and at the plate as the War Eagles cruised to a non-region victory in five innings Friday on the road.
Sims got the win for South (4-1), allowing one unearned run on one hit and three walks while striking out seven in five innings. Sims also went 2-for-3 with two RBI at the plate.
The War Eagles also had standout performances from Bradley Prince Jr. (1-2, 2BB, 3R, RBI), Brett Graczyk (2-3, 2R), Max Schmal (1-1, R, RBI, 2BB) and Grant Pearce (1-3, 2RBI).
Cambridge 11, West Forsyth 2
Indiana Stanley had two hits but it wasn’t enough as the Wolverines dropped a non-region game Friday at home.
Lucas Ellenburg suffered the loss for West.
Cade Pruitt and Matthew Stanley had a hit and RBI apiece.
Lambert 15, North Forsyth 2
Peyton Smith had five goals and three assists as the Lady Longhorns cruised to an Area 3-6/7A victory Friday on the road.
Jenna Humphries added three goals for Lambert (3-0, 1-0), while Gabby DiVirgilio and Cloe Latini each added two goals.
Morgan Berman made seven saves in goal.

SUWANEE – Tucker Brady had three goals but it wasn’t enough as the Raiders dropped a non-area game Friday on the road.
Mason Jolley had two goals and five assists for North (3-2, 1-0 Area 3-6/7A), while Anthony Herock and Chase Chapman each added two goals.
Shaun Herock went 26-for-28 on faceoffs, and Cameron Wysocki made eight saves in goal.
Pinecrest Academy 14, Northgate 3
Colin Spillane had seven goals as the Paladins cruised to a non-area victory Friday at home.
Jack Binkley added three goals and two assists for Pinecrest (1-0), while Drew Hendren made nine saves in goal.

Callie Fagan scored a goal but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Bulldogs dropped a Region 5-7A game in penalty kicks Friday at home.
Alexis Sherman added a goal for Central (3-2, 0-1).
The Lady Bulldogs lost on their final penalty kick - after Milton made their first five, the Lady War Eagles’ keeper stopped Central’s final attempt.
Lambert 3, North Forsyth 0
Three different players scored for the Lady Longhorns in a Region 5-7A victory Friday at home.
Lambert (4-1, 1-0) got goals from Madison Haugen, Molly Hulett and Ellie Prybylski.
Haugen, Megan Hong and Sydney Hennessey each had an assist, while Jordyn Ebert earned the shutout in goal.
Pinecrest Academy 2, Discovery 1
LAWRENCEVILLE – The Lady Paladins overcame a first-half deficit for a non-region victory Friday on the road.
Pinecrest trailed 1-0 at the half but got second-half goals from Sarah Brown and then Caroline Jeffcoat. Haley Triplett assisted on the first goal, while Brown assisted on the second.
Lambert 10, North Forsyth 0
John Conahan had four goals as the Longhorns cruised to a Region 5-7A victory Friday at home.
Eoin Griffiths added two goals and two assists for Lambert (3-1-1, 1-0).
The Longhorns also got goals from Nick Allison, Hayden Fontana, Zane Ziegler and Grant Plaugher. Avery Dekshenieks earned the shutout in goal.
Discovery 3, Pinecrest Academy 1
LAWRENCEVILLE – The Paladins could make a first-half lead hold up in a non-region loss Friday on the road.
Gabe Villar finished a corner kick from Sebastian Cordoba to put Pinecrest up in the first half, but it was all Discovery in the second half.
