Lambert continued to roll Friday, topping South Forsyth 68-60 as the Longhorns won their fifth-straight game and eighth in their past nine chances.
Senior Braxton Beaty led the Longhorns with 26 points, adding six rebounds and four assists. Senior Colin Granger had a double-double, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Lambert used a 23-point second quarter to take control of the game and bring a 36-27 lead into halftime.
South (12-9, 2-4 Region 5-7A) will host North Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, while Lambert will challenge Milton for first place in the region at home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Dawson County 86, Denmark 84, 3 OT
Denmark stepped out of region play Friday and lost a 86-84 triple-overtime thriller to Dawson County.
Denmark (15-4, 8-0 Region 7-4A) hosted Furtah Prep on Saturday and will look to remain perfect in region play against Flowery Branch at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

South Forsyth 61, Lambert 42
South Forsyth won its second-straight game Friday with a 61-42 win against Lambert.
The War Eagles (15-6, 3-3 Region 5-7A) will host North Forsyth at 6 p.m. Tuesday, and Lambert (6-12, 1-5 Region 5-7A) will look to get back on track at home against Milton at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Milton 75, Forsyth Central 55
Forsyth Central exploded for 20 points in the first quarter, but Milton answered to take a 37-30 lead into halftime, and the Eagles’ 25-point fourth quarter solidified the victory.
The Bulldogs (8-13, 1-5 Region 5-7A) will travel to West Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
