The scorching-hot Paladins won their sixth game in row on Wednesday night, run-ruling the Patriots with help from an eight-run fifth inning. Patrick O'Rourke threw six scoreless for Pinecrest, and Jay Sorohan and Caleb Bohn had three hits each for the Paladins, with Bohn blasting a grand slam as part of the fifth-inning outburst. Pinecrest improved to 6-5 with the win.

Blessed Trinity 8, Denmark 7

The Danes held a 7-6 advantage on the Titans heading into the bottom of the seventh, but two runs in that frame gave Blessed Trinity the walk-off win on Wednesday. Denmark outhit the Titans 11-10 on the night, with Jack Whitlock leading the way with three hits, including two doubles. The Danes fell to 5-8 overall and 0-1 in region play.

Milton 9, North Forsyth 1

The Raiders could hardly touch Eagles starter Dylan Matela on Tuesday night, with 17 of their 18 outs against the Furman commit coming via strikeout. Anthony DiMola had a strong start in some areas for the Raiders, allowing four hits and striking out 10 in five innings while allowing just one earned run, but Milton got five more unearned runs off the Georgia Southern commit.

Milton 14, West Forsyth 4

The Wolverines led early in Wednesday night's region matchup, with a 4-0 advantage after the first inning and a half, but a nine-spot by Milton in the bottom of the second quickly erased any realistic chance that West had. Matthew Strzelecki and Parker Boldt had doubles for West, which fell to 5-6 overall and 1-2 in region play.
