WOODSTOCK – Collin Price had two hits and an RBI but the Longhorns dropped a non-region game Friday on the road.
Garrett Hollenbeck also had two hits for Lambert (4-7).
North Forsyth 3, Woodstock 2
WOODSTOCK – Anthony DiMola struck out five in six solid innings to help the Raiders earn a non-region win Friday on the road against one of the nation’s top teams.
DiMola got the win for North (11-1) and allowed just two hits and no walks in six innings against a Woodstock team that entered undefeated (12-0) and, as of this past Tuesday, was ranked 15th in the country by Baseball America.
Colin Sanders went 1-for-3 with an RBI, while Kyle Martin and Carter Mullikin drove in the other runs for the Raiders.
Pinecrest Academy 9, King’s Ridge Christian 7
ALPHARETTA – Caleb Bohn tossed six strong innings and hit a home run at the plate to lead the Paladins to a Region 6-1A victory Friday on the road and their first ever against the two-time state champion Tigers.
Ben Gobbel added a double and three RBI for Pinecrest (7-6, 2-2), while Micky Mangan went 2-for-3 with a double.

Pinecrest Academy 17, Dunwoody 6
Molly Dankowski had six goals and three assists as the Paladins cruised to a non-area victory Friday at home.
Alex Tilkin added seven goals and two assists for Pinecrest (3-0), while Ella Binkley had one goal and three assists.
Boys lacrosse
West Forsyth 16, Charlotte Christian 3
RALEIGH – The Wolverines cruised to a victory in the King of Spring Tournament on Friday in North Carolina.
West improved to 6-2 overall this season.
