South Forsyth senior Rachel Shah and Lambert senior Cooper Coughlin were named the girls’ and boys’ players of the year, respectively, for Region 6-AAAAAA. Shah helped lead the Lady War Eagles to the state playoffs with 15 goals and 11 assists. The senior is the two-time county player of the year and signed with Furman. Coughlin, a senior, led Lambert to the region title and a state playoff appearance with 13 goals and 10 assists.
