Suwanee-native Preston Topper won the Standard Club Junior Championship in the 13-18-year-old division this past Sunday.
The 12-year-old who attends Riverwatch Middle School shot a 1-under 71 to beat the field by eight shots.
It was another impressive performance for Topper, who earlier this month finished fourth at the U.S. Kids World Championships in Pinehurst, N.C., of 152 kids from 46 countries.
Topper shot 71-69-72 (212), good enough to qualify for the World Cup match of the top 10 international and top 10 American golfers who played in a Ryder Cup-like match.
Playing two-man best ball, Topper and his partner won 5-3 and had the tournament low score with a 66.
